Empowering scientists to reinvent the world by bringing their research to market

Activate is a non-profit that empowers scientists to create solutions for how we power our lives, make things, move around the world, and use resources to nourish our society.

Brand Evolution

Activate wanted to upgrade their brand to set the organization apart from other companies in the industry. The goal was to focus on growth, moving forward, solutions, connections, optimism, and hope. We worked together to evolve the existing brand.

Brand Evolution

We updated the logotype with a more refined and customized typeface. The logomark of the delta symbol was modified to include a shape that references both an upward arrow and tree in the negative space. We also changed the primary logo from black to shades of blue as a way to reference the earth.

Annual Report Design

We designed the annual report to reflect Activate’s impact, groundbreaking innovations, and growth. The main focus was on the achievements and successes of their fellows. The design elements are clean and bold and meant to invoke a sense of environmental optimism.

Digital Marketing & Ad Design

We created a social media campaign to raise brand awareness, promote engagement with content and increase fellowship applications while highlighting diversity, environmental solutions and success stories.
