Cinequest’s Uplift Festival marked its first fully in-person event since COVID. At a time when many were feeling the weight of anxiety and global crises, the theme of the festival focused on the power of art and technology to lift spirits through transformative experiences, inspiring events, and meaningful community connection. We created the image of a magical being riding a bicycle—both nostalgic and futuristic—into the night sky, evoking a cinematic sense of wonder and the vast possibilities of the future.
